Hello and welcome to my blog! I have been thinking of doing this for years! I wanted to create a space for people who don’t want children to go and find like-minded people!
I hope to provide useful information that is unique to the Childfree community. Things like: reasons why people choose to be Childfree, how this decision allows us to create beautiful, purpose driven lives. How being Childfree affects our financial planning, retirement, and of course, elder care.
My posts will be data driven with a pinch of my sarcastic personality to keep it interesting!
I look forward to hearing from you in a respectful way! We want people to respect our decision to not have children, we need to be respectful of those who have chosen to have them. Therefore, derogatory comments against parents and the Childfree will be deleted.

Here’s a bit about me! My name is Rebecca, I am 48, my husband of 25 years is 51, and we have embraced the childfree lifestyle. It’s not that we don’t like children- all of our favorite people were once kids, we just decided that we didn’t want the stress and patience having children requires. We are enough. We are very happy and fulfilled in ways that don’t require us to give birth to achieve.
